Requirements |
Minimum Requirements:
• Knowledge of airline, regulatory, SkyWest and InFlight policies and procedures, other departmental policies and procedures that interface with the InFlight Department
• Ability to effectively manage follow up correspondence in a timely manner
• Ability to learn and apply SkyWest Safety Management System (SMS) principles
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Attention to detail in data input and researching material in producing quality work
• Ability to prioritize projects effectively
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to learn and effectively interpret regulatory guidance
• Proficient and accurate typing and keyboarding
• Skill in effective data collection and reporting data
• Skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to learn EtQ program
• Ability to operate office equipment and telephone systems
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Experience working in aviation industry
• Writing experience
• Experience as a flight attendant (if not qualified SkyWest flight attendant, training will be required)
Physical and Other Requirements:
• Working eight hours per day
• Overtime and weekends may be required, as needed
• Long periods of sitting, working on a computer, and reading
• Travel for attending required meetings, training, and conferences
• Follows directions from manager/director/vice president
• Maintain regular attendance
• Undergo required random drug/alcohol testing as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and/or Company requirements
