Requirements Required Skills: • The UAS Pilot must have a fundamental understanding of drone functionality and be able to perform routine maintenance checks to identify equipment in need of repair or replacement • Must be able to operate fixed wing and multirotor UAS. • Minimum 100 flight hours in last 2 years (Multirotor / fixed wing) • Must be familiar with flying UAS of various sizes and be able to learn the platform(s). • The UAS Pilot is part of a larger team of pilots, engineers, camera operators, VOs and inspectors, and should demonstrate a positive attitude, flexibility, and good communication skills • Basic computer skills, including file transfer and organization, and familiarity with the iOS platform are required • Must be familiar with autopilot operations • UAS Pilots also should have good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem solving skills, and be able to proactively seek out answers for any equipment or work-related issues that arise Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma • US Citizen Preferred Qualifications: • Part 107 license • Familiar with airspace authorization • Ability to obtain US security clearance level: secret Physical Demands/Travel: • Ability to travel up to 60% time • Required use of machining tools • Ability to work in a manufacturing/lab environment • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods (hot and cold) • Support CONUS travel for flight demo/operations • Support OCONUS travel for flight demo/operations
