EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of degree, certification and relevant experience will be considered if the relevant experience ten (10) year requirement is satisfied.
CERTIFICATES / LICENSES / REGISTRATION:
Senior Special Certification (required degree + certification + 10 relevant years)
Engineering, math, or science degrees are required.
JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Advanced computer skills (including those listed below) and knowledge of Aviation/FAA practices (preferred):
Programming languages: C/C++, FORTRAN, Simulink, iData, Visual Studio
Scripting languages: Shell, Perl, Python, Java Script
OS: Windows Server & Linux
Code Management: Perforce, SourceSafe, TFS
Networking
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills.
High Emotional intelligence – able to build productive & positive working relations with co-workers with varying technical & business backgrounds.
Growth and agile mindset with solid work ethics, embracing diversity.
Strong attention to details, with the ability to drill down into very tactical considerations to ensure accuracy in deliverables.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and coworkers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. |
