EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
1. Required Certificates
o FAA Commercial Pilot Rotorcraft Certificate and Instrument Helicopter Rating (ATP Rotorcraft Preferred)
o FAA 2nd Class Medical, preferred
o CFI and CFII highly preferred
2. Minimum Required Experience
o Total Flight Time = 2,000 hours
o Total Pilot-In-Command = 1,000 hours Rotorcraft
o Cross Country Flight Time= 500 hours
o Night Flight Time= 100 hours, including 50 hours night unaided
o Instrument Flight Time= 75 hours (50 in flight)
o Turbine Helicopter = 500 hours
3. Preferred Experience & Education
o Air Medical operations
o Single Pilot IFR operations
o Night Vision Goggle operations
o Aviation instruction
o Training curriculum development
o College degree in Aviation |
