Requirements |
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
• At least 2,000 hours as pilot in command; and Flight training experience, acquired as either a certificated flight instructor or an instructor in a military pilot flight training program, or a combination thereof, consisting of at least 3 years and a total of 1,000 flight hours; or 1,500 flight hours.
• FAA Commercial Pilots License (CPL)
• Valid US Class 1 Medical
• Current CFI Rating
• FAA CFI
• FAA CFI-I
• MEI
Preferred Additional Skills:
• Flight Instructor experience of SEP and MEP (CPL and IR) instruction
• Ability to adapt learning styles and differentiate between cadets
• Excellent management and communication skills with a proven track record of successfully leading a team
• Ability to manage teams of flight instructors
• Experience of working with the FAA
• Ability to work in a high pressured and dynamic environment
• A “can do” attitude and able to operate and make decisions in a demanding business environment
• Strong Customer-focused and Customer care skills
• Strong report writing skills
