Requirements |
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• BA/BS degree from a four (4) year college or university in a related field and/or combination of education and related experience.
• Must be a FAA commercial Instrument rated pilot either in Fixed Wing or Rotary Wing.
• Formal training in OSHA, EPA, and hazardous waste storage and handling and disposal procedures.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Graduate from a DOD Aviation Safety and Accident Investigation or FAA, NTSB or accredited university aircraft accident investigation course
• Minimum five (5) years experience as an Aviation Safety Officer/Manager.
• FAA Commercial Pilots License Instrument, with at least 1,500 hours of in aircraft flight time.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint Project and Visio.
PREFERRED:
• 1,500 hours of RW aircraft flight time.
• Extensive experience in risk management and mitigation.
• Prior experience as an instructor pilot, standardization pilot, and or instrument flight examiner is desirable.
• Understanding of aviation related quality assurance programs.
• Prior Department of State INL support experience.
