Requirements |
Qualifications:
At least 20 years’ total experience either military or civilian aviation career fields
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited aviation university or college, FAA A & P Certification or Industrial Technology Education and 240 clock hours of verified occupational experience in the specific aviation trade to be taught;
OR
6,000 clock hours of verified occupational experience in the specific trade to be taught;
AND
Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
The aviation flight experience to teach private pilot and instrument familiarization courses.
Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career & Technical Education teaching certificate in the area of industrial and emerging technologies.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
FAA Private Pilot Certificate
FAA Instrument rating
Airline Flight Experience
Two years’ aviation teaching experience.
A Master’s degree for college course instruction. |
