Requirements |
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess all current ratings to operate aircraft as PIC for a Part 135 operation, including meeting Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) minimums. ATP and a type rating for a Beechcraft 1900 is highly preferred.
• Must have a total of 1800 hours in a fixed wing aircraft, of which 250 hours will be multi-engine turbine flight time and at least 250 hours will be air carrier experience. Flight time in a Beechcraft 1900 and/or in Alaska are both highly preferred.
• Must have a valid First-Class Medical or the ability to obtain one prior to ground school.
• Must not have a record of any FAA Certificate Action or Administrative Action within the prior 24 months.
• Must be able to obtain a US Passport and be able to travel in and out of the US, including Canada.
• Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the position which require the ability to lift and maneuver 20 lbs. on a regular basis, and may involve lifting and maneuvering up to 65 lbs.
• Must be able to work all shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work safely in all types of weather, including extreme temperatures.
• Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft. |
